The National Honor Society welcomes to its membership all senior, junior and second semester sophomore students who maintain at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average and have been enrolled at the school for at least one semester. We invite eligible students to complete an application that the Faculty Council reviews for indications of scholarship, leadership, character, and service. However, completion of the application does not guarantee membership. We invite juniors and seniors to join during the fall semester and sophomores to join during the spring semester. National Honor Society members transferring from other schools may also transfer their N.H.S. membership by presenting a membership card or letter from the previous chapter advisor. Members must maintain a 3.2 cumulative grade point average, attend chapter meetings and functions, avoid disciplinary referrals, and participate in community service (forty hours per school year is recommended) to remain a member in good standing. Failure to do any of these will result in dismissal from the chapter. Please see the National Honor Society advisor for further information.
